Why Andamans?

The famed beauty of Andamans will keep you awestruck and  speechless. It is proven that Andamans is much more magnificent and alluring than what we watch in movies or television, or in discovery channel programs and tourism videos. The feel, the touch, the variety of flora and fauna in Havelock is truly incomparable. The matchless beauty has been ardently guarded and ferociously protected for ages.
The Indian archipelago consist of more than 300 Islands in Andaman alone and the remaining 272 Islands constitute the Nicobar Islands. The Indigenous tribes have been living in some parts of these Islands since 2000 years. The travelers are restricted to visit these places from a culture preservation point of view, but you can learn a lot about them at the Samudrika Marine Museum. The museum also hosts many exotic marine species and skeleton of the blue whale. If you want to go on a budget exotic tropical holiday, Andaman is the place to be. With its sparkling blue water, colourful coral reefs and white sand beaches, you get the best of views. Water sports is something you cannot miss on these Islands. North Bay Island is the best spot for snorkeling, deep diving and underwater sea-walking. A common misconception amongst people is that they should have prior swimming or diving experience for them to enjoy these water sports which is far from the truth. If still, you are not confident enough to try the mentioned water sports, you can try the Banana Boat, which is thrilling and much safer. For kids and older adults, there is glass bottom boat ride, and Cellular Jail light show is a must for all ages.
Plan your dream vacation to Andamans.

Best Time to tRavel

The best time to visit Andaman spans from October to March, when the islands flaunt their best weather, making your adventure unforgettable.

Renowned for its stunning beaches, thrilling water sports, and breathtaking natural beauty, Andaman is a paradise for both adrenaline junkies and tranquility seekers. But to ensure you can truly soak in the essence of this archipelago, timing is key

Picture a tropical climate, a sun shining benignly from above, a warm and comfortable breeze brushing past – that’s the Andaman Islands for you. With a lack of any extreme seasonal variations, these islands offer a refreshing departure from blistering heat or harsh cold. Annually, the temperature delicately balances itself between 23°C and 31°C, making the Andaman Islands a destination suitable for most parts of the year.

However, the months from June to September carry a different tune – they are the months of monsoon in Andaman. The otherwise clear skies give way to heavy showers, and it’s during this time that it is recommended to the casual tourist to steer clear. But more on this later. The months from June to September in Andaman are characterized by heavy rainfall, signaling the arrival of the monsoon season. If scuba diving, snorkeling, or trekking is high on your list, these months might not present the ideal time to visit Andaman as high tides and stormy seas often cause restrictions to popular island destinations like Havelock, Neil, and Ross.

However, if you’re a lover of monsoon drizzles, solitude, and indoor relaxation, this off-season time has its own charm. Imagine indulging in a soothing spa treatment, or enjoying luxurious amenities, all at a discounted rate at the premier resorts and hotels in Port Blair – a soothing melody to the accompanying rhythm of rain.
